i have to admit that maternity sessions are not my specialty. mainly because up until this session i have only done one. i am so happy with the turn out of these photos. and even happier for this family and their soon to be new baby boy!

the little miss eneded up being the one and only hannah montana, and the little guy had a last minute costume change to anakin skywalker. while out trick or treating he attacked a darth vader, who certainly wasn’t expecting it. ha..boys are crazy.

and this is what happens when i go to old navy the day before halloween. all halloween items were $2, plus i had a 50% off coupon. i am pretty sure this is the best $1 i have ever spent, although our dog, elsie, would disagree.
we will be taking the kiddos trick or treating this evening. our son is a ’skull pirate’ and our daughter is undecided between hannah montana, olivia the pig, or a flower. she said she wants to surprise us. how exciting! happy halloween!

i hope all of you pittsburghers got out this week and enjoyed the amazing weather we had. today it went back to being chilly and rainy, and the little miss only had a half day of school. go figure! we brought out the umbrellas and rain boots, and had a little fun!
**if you are thinking of booking a session before the holidays, now is the time. i only have a couple of dates left in november**

after a whole week of rainy weather, we had a morning of sunshine that didn’t necessarily work in my favor for this photo shoot. but despite the sun, it was hard to not capture a great photo of these two beautiful children! after waiting a little over two weeks, here is a sneak peek for the mom!

we did this last sunday, today, and will be doing it again on tuesday…which will my little girls actual sixth birthday.
one of the things the little miss asked for was a pink! camera. she was happy to be able to photograph the whole day, including her cake.
