I must say, I love doing senior sessions! They’re just so enjoyable for me. After this I did a family of four, and they are definitely more work. Anyways, these were all shot in manual in RAW format, which I absolutely love! It was a breeze to proof these images! I thought RAW was going to be so complicated but it was so simple.

We are now officially living in Pittsburgh!  Our move went well.  I am extremely glad it’s over!  The kids have adjusted well, I don’t even think our son noticed we moved.  Our daughter cries at the thought of moving back to where we were.  She is enjoying living in the city, which I am so happy about!  I haven’t taken many pictures.

I have two sessions tomorrow.  A senior, then a family with two small children.  I am excited, but a bit nervous about shooting the family.   I am going to shoot in raw, I have played with it some tonight, so everything should all go well.

Last evening my aunt took a family picture of us.  I was so happy, it was exactly what I wanted!  Well…me  being so forgetful, I set the settings, and never checked the ISO.  I had it way up from taking pictures in the house and was comparing noise levels from the D40 and D70.  So these pictures are quite horrible..I put them in b&w, and it helped some.  They’re just so so so grainy!  I guess we will have to do it again…I was just so excited to hang it up in our new place!  Such a dissapointment for me, and it’s all my fault.  Oh, the last one is of my aunt and uncle.  I love it!

I should be cleaning and packing, but I had to share this one. And besides, my husband is playing hockey!

Isn’t she gorgeus?

Meet my husband! The man who spoils me way too much. We had a great, relaxing time taking pictures together Saturday evening. We visited my sister and brother in laws farm, and wow, what a view! We will be going back up this week to hopefully have her snap a few family portraits of us. I know exactly what I want…I really hope it comes out as great as I have it pictured in my mind.

Also on Saturday my husband bought me an iMac G5 as an early birthday present. I suppose the lens I have been wanting will have to wait! I love the wide screen monitor for editing pictures, but I am not fond of change and am having a hard time getting used to everything else. When he imported all of my pictures from my other iMac to the new one, iPhoto reorganized all of my pictures for me by date, renaming all of my file folders. So now I will have to go back through over 30,000 pictures!

I really need to make myself some actions because I am taking way too long to edit this session.  Plus every photo has so many problems (my own fault…that is what practice sessions are for, right??) so that’s not helping me much!
