With baseball, soccer and camping I have had to turn down too many sessions this spring. I am going to be taking the next couple of months off to restructure my business. I have a small list of photographers who I have worked with and highly respect and will be more than happy to refer them to you. I want to thank all of my past clients over the past 4 years to trust me with your family portraits. It has been a fantastic experience meeting so many new people around the Pittsburgh area!

You can’t look at these pictures with out smiling. Capturing siblings together, especially when one is a toddler, can definitely make a photographer nervous. You never really know how they are going to turn out, or if you can capture them both looking happy at the same time. These two were happy to sit together and share some giggles! Climbing trees and running in the leaves also gave us some big smiles!

Over the weekend we did some camping, and I always find it so amazing that just 50 miles north they are still waiting for the leaves to come out.

On to this family, how good looking are they? I love the lumberjack matching jackets! I have photographed this family four times now, and it is always a pleasure.

..and for a contest! Want to win a free photo session (Any day of the week, and includes 5 full resolution photos on CD with printing release) with yours truly? Do you like to photograph your kids? Do your kids like to jump up and down? Yes you say? Perfect!

All you need to do is photograph your kid jumping up and down anywhere. You can even join in on the fun if you would like! You can then e-mail me the photo of your choice. If you have more than one child, you can either do each individual photos or get them all in one frame. Have a baby that’s not yet jumping? Feel free to help them out!

I will upload all of the photos I receive onto the Amie Powell Photography Facebook page. There you will be able to “Like” Amie Powell Photography, then “Like” the photos your are voting for. Have your friends and family participate in the fun. At the end of the contest, the photo with the most “Likes” will be the winner. Deadline for entries is April 4, 2011. Voting will begin on April 5, 2011 and will go through April 15, 2011.

Rules and Guidlelines:

- One photo per child, must be emailed to amie@amiepowell.com

- Session location must take place no farther than 10 miles from zip code 15206, otherwise a $25 traveling fee will be required

- Session must be scheduled in April or May 2011
