i was just doing the final edits on this session tonight, and wanted to share a few. i just love it when the client orders my favorite photos! the session was at hartwood acre’s. it was my first time shooting there, and i am sure i will go back. gorgeus place! his mom did some major practicing so he would be sitting up for his 6 month session, and it was obviously worth all the work…haha!

one of the best parts of shooting in a clients home is how comfortable the child is. it’s great to be able to capture moments in their bed, club house, or a very adorable pink polk a dotted chair.. don’t you just love her red hair?
i played with the colors more than usual with this post - hope you like them!

i’ve been meaning to post some new photos, but summer is keeping us busy. today we had an extremely lazy day between our daughter catching a stomach bug and the rain. we did a lot of cartoon and hannah montana watching, monster truck playing, eating popsicles and drinking ginger ale. our little guy was lost without his big sister to play with him and also jealous of her when she ate saltines for dinner in the living room. here’s a photo of him watching a big truck outside our window today.

our poor little boy doesn’t like to go to sleep, ever. whenever we bring up nap time or bedtime, his usual response is “but i didn’t get to play yet!!” but when i do let him skip a nap, this is what happens. all three photos were taken within one week. apparently, he still needs a nap!

for the past year i have been knitting on and off, but have yet to actually finish anything. i have been working on yet another scarf for close to two months, and was determined to finish it. lastnight it finally happened, and my little girl was so happy to wear it. she literally had it on ALL day. so cute! :) here she is at her great nanny’s house, showing it off.
