it’s been awhile since i have had the chance to take my own children out for a photo shoot. to be honest, it’s not something i really look forward to. they can be quite difficult to photograph, and have no desire to cooperate. on saturday morning, i took them out, with low expectations. i really wanted to document my son turning three, and my daughters new short hair cut. with a bribe for a special treat, they gave me about 20 minutes and it just happened to be enough time to get a few keepers!
oh…and the special treat they picked out? a package of strawberries and pumpernickel bagels with cream cheese from the whole foods for lunch! i can’t complain about that.

total cuteness, and such a happy boy! it was a fun photoshoot too..with a half pipe in the entrance of their home, and then we went to a coffee shop.

newborns are just so beautiful! they are definitely more time consuming to photograph, but the results are always worth it! so, so sweet!

these brothers seem to have a great bond with each other! and the youngest has some amazing big blue eyes and the cutest cheeks!

such a cute and happy family! our first session was cancelled because it was below 30, and it still ended up being below 30 for the new date..although there was some sun (with a little bit of snow on and off), and not so much wind! i don’t know how the little guy was so happy, but i am sure glad he was.
